This year's theme is "Inclusion Beyond Borders". This theme was selected to address several ideas.

JOM Student Count: The JOM Student Count was very important this year. The BIE will be using the 2023 student count to distribute the FY 2025 funds. Students who are enrolled in a federally-recognized tribe or are 1/4 degree of Indian blood, they are JOM-eligible. This is Inclusion Beyond Borders.
Student Impact: Inclusion - mentally, spiritually and physically - is imperative in the academic success of JOM students.
Educating Others: As Indigenous leaders, we continuously provide support for each other and ensure our voices are heard in spaces that have an impact on Indian education.

Student Scholarship Opportunities for 2023 - Applications are closed.

NJOMA is offering scholarship opportunities for high school seniors graduating during the 2021/2022 school year. Applications are due by August 4, 2023.

The following scholarship winners will be announced on September 13, 2023 at NJOMA's annual conference banquet:

Chief Earl Old Person Scholarship - Two (2) $1,000 scholarships
Steve Pruitt's Memorial Scholarship - Two (2) $1,000 scholarships
